Boy with foot impaled on metal spike is freed
A boy who impaled on a metal spike was freed by fire crews on Sunday afternoon.
A fire engine from Burnham on Sea was sent to the report of a 9 year old boy with his foot impaled on the top of a metal gate at Withy Road, East Huntspill.
The boy's foot was freed from the gate using small tools.
He left in the care of his parents who were also in contact with the ambulance service.
