THE skies over the Somerset Levels are being blacked out by murmurations of starlings.
The birds use two sites to roost bewteen November and February - the RSPB Ham Wall nature reserve and Natural England's Shapwick Heath.
To find out the latest information on the starling’s whereabouts, visitors can call the Avalon Marshes Starling Hotline on 07866-554142.
This is a recorded message, which is updated if the starlings significantly change location.
