THE Taunton motor show is set to make a stunning return this summer.

The free event will run from 10am and to 3.30pm at Taunton Racecourse on Sunday, July 10, and is hosted by the County Gazette and supported by the racecourse.

The last Motor Show, held in 2012 at Taunton School, was a great success with more than 6,000 people making their way through the gates.

With a bigger venue spreading over 70 acres, there will be more family entertainment, and even more to look forward to.

The British Army will also be attending this year’s show.

They will be bringing along a range of vehicles, and more excitingly as well as their climbing wall and inflatable obstacle course – it’s sure to be a hit with youngsters and adults alike as they put their skills to the test to see if you can beat the best.

There will also be a fun fair, creepy crawlies, plenty of stands, stalls, food, refreshments and much more.

Top dealers will be bringing their latest models, including Subaru, Mini Cooper, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Tesla and Jaguar.

There will also be plenty for bike lovers too, with Triumph will be taking part on the day, showcasing their desirable motorbikes.

The Freewheelers will also be there with their blood bikes, and will be explaining the vital work that they do delivering out of hours blood to emergency rooms across the country.

And there will also be custom builds and car clubs to admire.

As well as being fun, the day will raise money, as it is supporting three charities: St Giles Kennels, Caot, Autism Awareness and St Margaret’s Hospice, who the County Gazette is aiming to raise £180,000 for as part of its anniversary celebrations.

The County Gazette is still keen to hear from caterers who would like to take part in the event.
