IT’S a lovely start to the bank holiday weekend, but unfortunately it doesn’t look like it will last.

Throughout today, (Friday), the sun will be shining down on Somerset, but it will be slightly cooler than in previous days.

The highest temperature will be around 21 degrees Celsius, with it dropping down to a cool 13 degrees Celsius in the night.

However, on Saturday and Sunday, the weather will take a turn for the worse.

On Saturday, there are heavy showers forecasted from 9am until 10pm, with outbreaks of sunshine.

It will be quite humid, with temperatures around 21 degrees Celsius. The forecast does say that the west of England will benefit from the best of the brighter spells.

It is very much the same on Sunday, with heavy showers predicted around 1pm, but temperatures will remain in the low 20s.

The good weather returns again on Bank Holiday Monday, which is expected to be much drier than Saturday and Sunday.

Some sporadic showers could be on their way, but in the main, it will remain bright, dry and warm with temperatures reaching a peak of 21 degrees Celsius.
