THE County Gazette's new publication, Somerset: A Photographic Journey, has hit the shelves.
The hardback book, featuring hundreds of stunning images showcasing the best of Somerset, was officially launched at a special event last Thursday.
Held at Waterstones in Taunton, which is also stocking copies of the book which has been produced in association with Wilkie May and Tuckwood, the event saw dozens turn out to catch the first glimpse of the content.
County Gazette editor Paul Jones, who also edited Somerset: A Photographic Journey, thanked everyone who attended.
"It was a great evening and a terrific opportunity for people to have a look at our book, which we are enormously proud of.
"It was particularly nice to see some of the readers whose submitted photographs made the book, and to thank them for their efforts, which really add to what is a remarkable collection of images."
Somerset: A Photographic Journey makes the ideal Christmas present and is available, priced £14.99, at Waterstones, as well as online at www.countygazette.co.uk/somersetbook.
