THE rain is finally set to stop today as Somerset continues to recover from the flooding of the past few days.
In their south west summary, Met Office said: "Mostly cloudy but dry with a few sunny spells developing, particularly in the west of the region.
"Turning windy along English Channel coasts and feeling rather cold."
The maximum temperature is set to reach around 9C, before falling to a minimum of 6C overnight.
Tomorrow's forecast said: "A cloudy and damp start, but becoming drier with some brightness developing during the afternoon. Still rather windy and continuing to feel quite cold."
The temperature is set to peak at around 11C.
