THROUGH the Gazette may I thank the very kind and generous lady who paid for my weekly shop last week when I had a mental block and forgot my debit card pin numbers at the supermarket checkout.
A long queue was forming and after my third attempt she could see that I was panicking and thinking I probably had dementia inserted her own card into the machine and said that she had paid.
It was a gift from God, she said, and to thank God and not her (which I did).
I now ask the question - does it restore your faith in Humanity, Christianity or both?
Incidentally, the money I saved has now been been forwarded to a good cause.
