POLICE have made an appeal for a man to come forward to help their investigations into a series of burglaries.

They have posted a Wanted appeal on social media calling for John 'Froggy' Bale to come forward.

It says: "We need to speak to you. Fancy popping into Bridgwater Police Station for a chat?

"We will make you a cup of tea."

The police want to speak to Mr Bale in connection with a number of house burglaries in Bridgwater, Burnham, Highbridge and Street.

He has also breached the conditions of his Post Sentence Supervision. 
Mr Bale is 53 and described as a white male, with a bald head and blue eyes, approximately 5ft 7” tall and of medium/slim build. He sometimes has moustache, or can be clean shaven, he walks with a limp due to an injury on his left knee and often wears polarised sunglasses.

He has links to the Taunton, Bridgwater, Street, Glastonbury and Burnham-on-Sea areas of Somerset.
