SOMERSET Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is looking for nominations from patients, their families and carers as part of its annual Staff Recognition Awards.

The project aims to celebrate the inspiring and innovative work from staff across the trust - those who have gone the extra mile this year.

Somerset Partnership provides a comprehensive range of integrated community health, mental health, learning disability and social care services to people of all ages.

The trust is inviting patients and carers to nominate a staff member or team for the Patients’ Choice Award and the Carers’ Choice Award.

Dr Nick Broughton, Somerset Partnership’s chief executive, said: “I am proud of our staff and their achievements, and I am eager to hear from members of the public, patients, and their carers who they think deserve to be recognised.

“If you know an individual or team who you feel has gone the extra mile to provide you, a friend or members of your family, outstanding care, then please nominate them for an award.”

The awards will be presented at the Staff Recognition Awards ceremony in November.

Those who make a successful nomination will be invited to attend with a guest.
