THE cloudy morning is set to get worse later as rain is forecast for Somerset.
In their south west summary, Met Office said: "A cloudy and cool day with heavy showers or longer spells of rain for most areas.
"Despite this, there will be some drier spells with even some sunny intervals possible in places."
The maximum temperature is set to reac around 20C, before falling to a minimum of 11C overnight.
Tomorrow's forecast said: "After a wet start with heavy rain in places, it will turn drier and brighter from the west with spells of sunshine developing for most. Staying breezy and rather cool."
The temperature is again set to peak at around 20C.
