POLICE are warning the public not to approach a man they want to speak to in connection with an assault in Somerset.
They are trying to locate David Purkiss, 30, in connection with an assault on a man in Weston-super-Mare.
Purkiss, from the Bournville area of Weston, is white, 6ft tall, of medium build with short brown hair and brown eyes.
He has a small scar near his right eye and several tattoos, including one saying ZOE on the back of his neck.
Officers say they believe Purkiss is likely to be in the Weston-super-Mare area.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said: "If you see him please do not approach him but instead call 999 immediately."
