ALMOST 50,000 people in Somerset aged between 16 and 24-years-old are to be sent a letter advising them to say ‘yes’ to test for the sexually transmitted infection chlamydia.

The mail shot is being organised by the NHS Chlamydia Screening Service in Somerset in response to the rising levels of the illness.
