CRASH: The A303 is closed in both directions between Ilminster and South Petherton after a crash
A CRASH involving two vehicles has closed the A303 both ways between Ilminster and South Petherton this afternoon.
The incident involving a van and aRange Rover happened on the A358 between Station Road for Southfields Roundabout in Ilminster and the Hayes End roundabout for South Petheton.
There's a diversion through Ilminster, but the roads are heavy with traffic.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said they were called at 3pm.
They added: "We were called to reports of a collision involving a van and a Range Rover towing a caravan.
"The road has been closed in both directions."
No one was said to be injured in the crash.
