WELL it might have been chilly the past few days... and unfortunately it looks set to stay that way over the Bank Holiday weekend.

But don't rule out your chances of digging out the barbecue.

Temperatures will reach a high of 13 degrees C today and it'll be cloudy.

Tomorrow will be cloudy too but with a bit of sun, it's your best chance of getting out and enjoying the sun as the Met Office is forecasting rain on Sunday, and more cloud and highs of 13 degrees on Monday.

The chief forecaster said: Saturday will be another largely dry day with bright or sunny spells though still with the risk of an isolated shower.

"Feeling relatively mild, however later in the day it will become breezier. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

"Breezy on Sunday with rain arriving from the southwest, this will clear to the northeast by "Monday though further rain may arrive from the west later on Tuesday."

So don't put your brolly away just yet...
