THE 16th beer festival at the Brewers Arms in South Petherton over the weekend proved a big success.
The four-day festival saw visitors able to indulge in a host of real ales from around the country, along with special guest ciders.
Entertainment was laid on for festival-goers over the weekend with live music, a skittles competition in aid of Breast Cancer Care and competition fun.
One of the most hotly-contested events was the ever-popular yard-and-a-half-yard of ale competition in which competitors had to down just under three pints of beer.
Seven contestants took on the challenge and all managed to complete the task.
Richard Pippin, of Merriott, had the fastest time – one minute and 56 seconds.
