WEST Country folk legend Steve Knightley makes a welcome return to the David Hall, South Petherton, tonight.
Steve (pictured) is best known as the song-writing force behind the phenomenally successful acoustic roots duo Show of Hands, who have played at the Albert Hall and headlined major festivals from Glastonbury to WOMAD.
He is also an established singer and musician in his own right, writing folk classics including Country Life and Roots, both nominated for Best Original Song at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.
His songs are renowned for their strong narrative which reflect the escapades, hopes and fears of the people in the West Country and beyond.
