SEVERAL homes in South Petherton have been targeted by thieves who have stolen outside garden taps.
Both copper and brass taps were cut and stolen between 3am and 6am on June 23 leaving a number of properties and gardens flooded.
A water fountain was also damaged at South Petherton Primary School during an attempt to steal the copper connections.
The attacked properties were in Whitehall, Roundwell Street, Hayes End, Hele Lane, South Street and Lightgate Lane.
