Patients and carers at St Margaret's Hospice toasted FOCUS DIY in Yeovil this week after receiving a donation of free DIY, decorating and garden products from the local retailer.
The store, based on Western Avenue, is donating £250 worth of products, including a top of the range gas barbecue, cordless drill and complete set of gardening tools, to support the Hospice and to help the Hospice's handyman carry out essential maintenance work at the centre.
St Margaret's Hospice is committed to improving the quality of life for patients with life threatening illnesses while also extending support to patients' families free of charge.
Comments Nathan Fletcher, customer services manager at FOCUS in Yeovil: "St Margaret's Hospice provides an invaluable service to our local community and we are delighted to be supporting the fantastic work they do."
"We would like to thank Focus for thinking of St Margaret's," says Hospice Community Fundraiser, Sue Scott. "The generosity of Focus and other companies in ways like this and through sponsorship of events, payroll giving and donations benefits the supporting company as well as the Hospice and patients, helping us to continue providing our specialist Hospice care."
