YEOVIL police are taking part in a special football match to raise money for the Flying Colours Appeal.
Yeovil District Hospital beat manager PC Mark Hurst has organised an emergency services team to play against a representative team from Yeovil Town to raise money for the hospital's charity.
Flying Colours is the 1million public appeal to transform the patient environment at Yeovil District Hospital. The match will take place on May 9 at 6.30pm on the Westlands Sports Centre, Yeovil. PC Hurst said: "Working at the hospital I thought it would be good to raise money for their charity.
"We are not sure who will be coming from Yeovil yet but we hope some of the first team players may put in an appearance."
Tickets will be sold on the gate - £5 adults, £3 children.
