  • "Whlist it's probably scant consolation to Yeovil Town fans after the result here at Pride Park, I'd just like to send a word of praise down to your team and manager. Almost always when a team is 2-1 up with a short time to go, timewasting and players feigning injury is the norm in modern football. However, your team showed loads of integrity against the Rams by playing good fair football the way it should be played. There are probably those amongst you who wish you had shown more 'professionalism' but really you can hold your heads high after the way you played. You are a good side and I hope you stay up. You deserve to. Brian. Ramsfan."

YEOVIL Town squandered a two-goal lead as they were beaten 3-2 at Derby on Tuesday night (January 28).

The visitors went 2-0 up through John Lundstram and Ishmael Miller in the first half, before the Rams pulled one back shortly after half time.

Patrick Bamford got the promotion chasers up and running, followed by two late goals from Craig Bryson and Chris Martin.

The result leaves Yeovil rooted to the bottom of the Sky Bet Championship.
