BOXING: Victory for Yeovil's Dan Daws

YEOVIL Amateur Boxing Club fighter Dan Daws gained a great victory on Saturday in the ring at Blandford on Saturday.
Daws, 19, came up against Jordan Platt, of Launceston, in a senior lightweight bout and won on a majority decision.
A club spokesman said that it had been a first-class bout and both boxers had been congratulated by the referee.
