MEMBERS of Yeovil Town Road Running Club were not put off by the icy conditions for the recent Heartbreaker event at the New Forest.

The conditions meant that the course had to be shortened to 10.6-miles, but this did not prevent the Yeovil members enjoying the beautiful scenery and the wildlife that made up the on course spectators.

Steve Sparks had a good run for his time of 1hr16m17 and 32nd place, whilst team-mates Jody Foy (1hr30m30) and Paul Allen (1hr30m44) raced right to the line.
