HOCKEY: Lottery funding for Yeovil and Sherborne

YEOVIL and Sherborne Hockey Club is celebrating after receiving a substantial £3,500 grant from the Awards for All organisation – a Lottery-funded scheme to help local clubs and communities.

This grant will enable the club to continue to provide a high level of coaching for all its nine senior teams and its ever-growing junior section.

It will also enable the club’s members to further their own levels of coaching by assisting funding of coaching courses.

The club is based at the Gryphon Leisure Centre in Bristol Road, Sherborne, and caters for all levels of hockey.
