YELLOW Wagtail B can almost taste the champagne as they move to within touching distance of the Division One crown in the Yeovil Sports Skittles League.

They are level on points at the top alongside Hammers and Easy Boys, but have games in hand.

While the Hammers and Easy Boys have one game left to play this season, Wagtail still have three.

It would take something of a massive change in fortunes for the Wagtail now not to take the title.

It will go down to the final game to decide which team takes the Division Two championship with leaders Has Beens just a point ahead of second-placed Legionaires.

With RAFA already crowned Division Three champs, the battle is on — with one game remaining — to determine runners-up with Artists and Richard Edwards on 38 points and Debaggers just one point behind.

The Division Four championship was sorted out a long time ago with FK Rebels as runaway winners.

It is a similar scenario in Division Five where Incredibles took the honours with plenty to spare.
