SOMERSET chairman Andy Nash has confirmed the county are close to announcing a second 'marquee signing' for this season's NatWest T20 Blast.
Nash also confirmed that the player in question is a World Cup winner, but did not say whether or not that referred to the 50-over or 20-over competition.
Nash tweeted on Sunday: 'Another marquee signing coming for our T20 squad for this season'.
He added: 'World class player. Unsurprisingly therefore a World Cup winner. No more clues!'
The last four 50-over World Cups have been won by Australia (3) and India, while the World Twenty20 competitions have been won by India, Pakistan, England, West Indies and Sri Lanka.
