SOMERSET County Cricket Club’s fixtures in the Royal London One Day Cup and the Natwest T20 Blast have been revealed.

The popular Twenty20 competition is a real crowd pleaser down at the Cooper Associates County Ground, with seven games set to be held.

On Friday, July 21, they kick off their action in the “Cider Derby” against Gloucestershire, with a game two days later against Middlesex.

On Wednesday, July 26 they host Hampshire, before pitting their wits against the Sussex Sharks.

They welcome Surrey on August 6, before a double-header the following weekend, playing against Kent Spitfires on Saturday, August 12, and Glamorgan on August 13.

The club had a good run in the one day cup, but a poor showing in the T20, and will be hoping to go one better this year and win the cup. Here’s a full list of the fixtures: • July 9th – Surrey v Somerset

In the One Day Cup, Somerset will kick off their run with a home tie against Surrey, on Friday, April 28, before travelling to Surrey on April 30.

May will see the club play eight matches in the competition.

They then play Kent Spitfires at home on May 2, before travelling to Glamorgan on May 5, travelling to Hampshire on May 10 before travelling to Gloucestershire on May 12.

They then host Essex Eagles at the Cooper Associates County Ground on May 14, before rounding off the group stage on May 17.

If they make it through the group stage, the play offs are on June 13, the semi-finals on Friday, June 16 and 17, with the final on July 1.
