YEOVIL Town gained a 3-0 victory over Tiverton Town on Saturday in their final pre-season warm-up game of the summer - but the scoreline could have looked a lot more impressive.
The Glovers missed a bundle of chances at Huish Park on Saturday and Yeovil boss Terry Skiverton said he was "disappointed" with the lack of penetration in front of goal.
"I think we squandered a lot of chances," he said.
"When we got up by the three goals, I think we started trying to walk the ball into the net.
"That's not the way that we have been playing and that's not the way that I want to carry on playing.
"I want to create good chances and every time that we do get in a one-on-one I want people getting in there and getting shots off and attacking opponents and not trying to let your mates score.
"It got a bit like that on Saturday against Tiverton and I was a little bit disappointed."
