YEOVIL Town boss Terry Skiverton believes that the pitch at Huish Park needs attention before matches.
Skiverton was speaking with the BBC following Saturday's disappointing 1-0 defeat to Swindon Town at Huish Park.
"I thought the pitch was quite dry and I thought that with all that rain on it I thought the pitch would be a lot slicker," he said.
"But it seemed that the ball held up a bit today, and that didn't really suit the style that we have been playing.
"We maybe need to get onto that and get the pitch watered a bit more."
But Skiverton added: "I'm not blaming the pitch for the way that we played.
"We lacked that little bit of knowledge to break them down. But we'll keep working and we'll keep believing in what we're doing.
"It just shows you that we're competing with the likes of Swindon and that if it wasn't for a mistake we would have come out of the game with at least a draw."
