ONE special visitor to Yeovil Town FC this afternoon for the Glovers’ Coca-Cola League One clash with Charlton Athletic will be Mark Corney.
Mark is hoping to raise £2,000 by the end of the year for Children in Need by visiting Premier League and Football League ground in England by the end of the year.
He started off on January 2 with a trip to Tottenham Hotspur’s White Hart Lane ground and following today’s trip to Huish Park – which coincides with the Children in Need appeal itself – he will have just nine stadiums to visit to complete his mission.
Huish Park is venue number 85 for Mark and so far he has raised £1,061 towards his target.
If you would like to sponsor Mark then please go to his fundraising web page at www.justgiving.com/markcorney which can be accessed via the link on this page of this website.
Following today's trip to Yeovil the remainder of his itinerary is as follows: Nov 22 – Stoke City; Nov 24 – Hartlepool United; Nov 28 – Bristol City; Nov 29 – Cardiff City; Dec 5 – Arsenal; Dec 8 – Swansea City; Dec 12 – Burton Albion; Dec 13 – Middlesborough; Dec 19 – Exeter City.
