YEOVIL Town boss was delighted with the midfield combination of Shaun MacDonald and Owain Tudur Jones during the Glovers’ 4-1 victory at Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday.

Shaun MacDonald and Owain Tudur Jones worked comfortable together in the middle of the park and they put in a convincing display.

“I thought they were fantastic,” Skiverton told the BBC. “Owain especially was very dominant in the air and he really run and protected the back four very well.

“Every time we won it, he got it back up to Sam Williams and as soon as Sam secured possession, we looked like we could get in behind them.

“So the components we'd worked on all week worked very well for us on Saturday and we were fortunate to come out with such a good performance.”
