YEOVIL Town will face Coventry City at Huish Park in the opening game of the 2012-13 season in the npower League One.

The league season kicks-off on August 18 and the Glovers have been awarded with an attractive home fixture with the relegated Sky Blues to get things underway.

Yeovil then face trips to Brentford on August 21 and Scunthorpe United on August 25.

The Yeovil officials will be hoping that home crowds pick-up this season and they will be pleased that they have been given some good home games to get the season started with.

Following the Coventry game the next four games at Huish Park will see Yeovil play host to Doncaster Rovers (September 1), AFC Bournemouth (September 8), Sheffield United (September 22) and Portsmouth (October 2).

Yeovil's actual season starts on August 14 when Colchester United are the visitors to Huish Park in the First Round of the League Cup, now known as the Capital One Cup.

The Glovers close the season on April 27, 2013, with a trip to Bury.
