YEOVIL Town have this morning confirmed that experienced defender Jamie McAllister will be signing for the Glovers.
The 34-year-old former Bristol City left-back was released from Ashton Gate at the end of last season and had been widely tipped as a potential target for Yeovil boss Gary Johnson.
The Scottish-born defender has made more than 500 appearances during his long career at six clubs.
A Yeovil spokesman said: “He will add experience to a young looking Glovers’ squad ahead of the 2012-13 npower League One season.
“We’d like to welcome Jamie to Huish Park and we hope that he has a successful time with the Glovers.”
