Temporary Closure of Public Bridleways 27, Winfrith Newburgh And 5, Coombe Keynes

DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic [Temporary Restrictions] Act 1991. All pedestrians, horse-riders and cyclists will be prohibited from proceeding along Bridleway 27, Winfrith Newburgh and Bridleway 5, Coombe Keynes (Claypits Lane, Winfrith to Coombe Wood, Coombe Keynes), a distance of approximately 1,500 metres.

The Order is needed to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on Monday 18 March 2019, for a period of 6 months. However, it is anticipated that the closures will be extended for a further 12 months to allow the building works to be completed. This closure is needed to allow agricultural building works to take place at Newburgh Dairy.

An alternative route is signed to the south of the existing bridleway.

Temporary Closure Of Public Footpath 34, Charminster

DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic [Temporary Restrictions] Act 1991. All pedestrians will be prohibited from proceeding along footpath No34 Charminster, from grid reference SY 677 928 to grid reference SY 676 927 a distance of approximately 220 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 26 March 2019fora period of 2 months. But it may be extended, with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, if necessary. The Order is required for Health and Safety reasons while Wyatt Homes construct

new houses.

On this occasion there is no reasonable alternative route.

Temporary Closure Of All Saints Road, Weymouth

DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along All Saints Road, Weymouth from the junction with Ebor Road to the junction with Wyke Road, a distance of approximately 85 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 8th April 2019 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 18th April 2019

This order will enable I&G Contractors, on behalf of SGN, safe access to replace the gas main. An alternative vehicular route will be signed using; - High Street - Marlborough Avenue - Langton Avenue - A354, Portland Road - B3156, Portland Road - Wyke Road. The County of Dorset (Various Roads in the District of West Dorset) (Consolidation of Orders Made for the Regulation of Traffic) Order 2014, (Amendment Order

No.2, 2018) Lay-By Off New Road (B3I47) Dorchester-Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting

Dorset County Council has made an Amendment Order to 'The County of Dorset (Various Roads in the District of West Dorset) (Consolidation of Orders Made for the Regulation of Traffic) Order 2014' under relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ('the Act') and the Traffic Management Act 2004 and of The Local Authorities' Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with statutory requirement and in compliance with the 1996 Regulations. When the Order comes into operation on the 29 March 2019, the effect of the Order will be to amend the existing restrictions in the Lay-By Off New Road, (B3I47), Dorchester. Relevant exemptions will apply where appropriate and as necessary in accordance with the provisions of the Order.

A copy of the Order together with a plan showing the length of road affected, may be inspected from Monday to Friday during normal office hours at:- Main Reception, Dorset County Council, County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester.
