Close to the heart of this popular village is this Grade II listed, semi-detached cottage set in lovingly maintained gardens full of colour.

The front door opens onto a good size sitting/dining room with a slate floor and wood burner stove. The dining area is large enough to accommodate a table and chairs.

Off the sitting room the kitchen is to the rear of the cottage and is well laid out with white wall and base units, built-in electric oven with an electric hob, extractor fan over and a space and plumbing for a dishwasher.

The staircase rises to the first floor from the kitchen and the open area below the stairs provides space and plumbing for a washing machine and a fridge/freezer.

The bathroom is downstairs beyond the kitchen, having a corner bath with wall-mounted shower over, WC and washbasin.

A further door opens into a lean-to with a tiled floor and a back door which opens onto the rear garden. In the bathroom, there is also a hidden bricked up old doorway which could be re-opened to incorporate the large workshop/store (subject to Listed Buildings Consent).

On the first floor is a good-sized landing with 3 bedrooms, the main ones looking over the front gardens. The master double bedroom has a large fitted cupboard with another storage cupboard over and the second double bedroom also has a built-in cupboard. (The top half of which houses the baxi boiler).

Bedroom 3 is a single bedroom/study with a sloping roof and its window provides a view of the rear garden and countryside beyond.

Outside, a picket gate opens onto a footbridge which takes you over the River Piddle, into the wonderful open gardens. A gravelled path, bordered with colourful plants, leads through the first large area of garden.

A box hedge with another little picket gate separates the second area of garden which has a summer house. A gravelled path to the side of the cottage takes you to the rear garden, which has open views over the fields beyond.
