- AN exhibition inspired by the surroundings of Hestercombe will showcase the work of three artists who have been directly engaged with us over three years. Collectively interested in issues related to labour and the management of landscape and nature, the exhibition aims to examine and critique human and non-human centred activity found in Hestercombe’s past and present.
Featured artists: Sarah Bennett, Megan Calver, Philippa Lawrence.

Somerset Industrial Archaeological Society
Recording Watchet Paper Mill, an account by Mary Miles, Chair of SIAS.
Originally established in 1750, most of the Wansborough Paper Mill in Watchet has recently been demolished. SIAS was able to record many of the machines and buildings, and with others has secured a record of 1000s of photographs. These are now being sorted prior to placing in the Somerset Heritage Centre.
Meeting at North Town School, off Wood Street, Taunton.

SPACE Fest 2019: Big Smoke
- A contemporary dance show, choreographed to explore and showcase all things London. Taking in a big red bus tour, the vibrant samba beats of Notting Hill Carnival, the West End’s finest musicals, Fashion Week, Covent Garden, the buzz of the 2012 Olympics and the panic sparked by the riots’ .
