RICHARD Digance is a rare performer in that he is respected by comedians for his original material and by musicians for being an accomplished performer/guitarist.

His loyal following confirms his wide appeal and ranges from the younger generation to the super-loyal who have followed him since the time he had his own ITV series and even further back when he started out in folk clubs.

Many modern performers are inspired by Digance’s guitar playing and individual style.

He returns to the David Hall in South Petherton on Friday, April 17, at 8pm and tickets are £16.

Music manager at the hall Pete Wheeler said: “This will be Richard’s fifth time with us. Once again, his performance at the Cropredy Festival in 2014 was enjoyed by everyone.

“A night of laughter mingled with a great deal of reflection is guaranteed.

There is no other performer like him. A sell-out is inevitable – so book early.”
