EARLIER this year, your County Gazette teamed up with the Somerset branch of the Campaign to Protect Rural England for a special competition.
This year, CPRE Somerset is marking its 50th anniversary and to mark the anniversary, launched a photographic competition asking amateur photographers to enter up to three photographs on the theme of Somerset’s Changing Landscape.
A trio of judges - County Gazette editor Paul Jones, CPRE Somerset chairman Prof Chris Lewis and CPRE member and professional photographer Kit Houghton - will pick an overall winner, with a prize of £100 up for grabs.
Meanwhile, you can now have your say and pick a winner for the County Gazette Readers' Winner prize of £50, which will be selected by public vote from a final shortlist of pictures.
Follow the link below - or click here - to see all of the photographs and select your favourite in our vote.
The poll closes on Friday, October 5, with the winner will be announced in the coming weeks.
Enjoy the photographs and happy voting!
