A CHARD school has been given a boost to funds after holding a Christmas bazaar.
Avishayes Primary School’s Parents, Teachers, and Friends Association organised the fundraiser, which was held on Saturday.
Charity and local traders held stalls and there was also a Santa’s grotto.
The guest of honour, Father Christmas, arrived in style at 11am when his horse drawn carriage pulled up.
The PTFA raises around £3,000 every year for Avishayes.
As well as the Christmas bazaar, they hold discos and fayres to help collect cash.
