A BURNHAM-on-Sea charity shop is closing after seven years in business.
The RSPCA charity shop in High Street is one of two shops in the town which raises money towards the rehabilitation of British wildlife.
And staff from the RSPCA North Somerset said the High Street store will be closing on January 19.
A spokesman for the RSPCA thanked customers for their support.
"We are enormously grateful to everyone who has supported the work of the RSPCA North Somerset Branch through the Burnham High Street charity shop," the spokesman said.
"The lease on this shop is due for renewal at the beginning of February and a decision has been taken to close on January 19 to enable us to combine the two shops we currently have in the town under one roof at our Regent Street premises.
"Alongside our other shops in Weston-super-Mare, Yatton, Nailsea and Winscombe, the Burnham-on-Sea shop will continue to offer some fantastic bargains, and opportunities for existing and new volunteers to help generate funds to support our animal centre at Brent Knoll and help animals in the local community."
