A MAN arrested after an armed police incident at a fast food restaurant in Taunton has been released under investigation.
A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and attempted robbery after entering KFC in East Street at around 11pm on Saturday night.
Armed police officers attended the incident, which saw the man lock himself in the bathroom after staff did not meet his demands.

A spokesperson said: "The 28-year-old man detained by officers at KFC over the weekend was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and attempted robbery.
"He has been released on police bail pending further enquiries
"He is due to answer bail at 11am on May 9."
No one was injured in the incident, and police evacuated customers from the popular chicken shop.
A KFC spokesperson said: “We can confirm that there was an attempted robbery at our Taunton restaurant on Saturday night and have been working closely with the local police as they investigate what happened.
"Thankfully no one was hurt, and we’re doing everything we can to support the team members who were on shift at the time.”
