POLICE are appealing for witnesses of a six-vehicle crash that closed a Somerset road for more than two hours.

Officers are also requesting any dashcam footage of the collision on the A39 Westway, in Street, near Clarks Village, at around 5.20pm yesterday (Tuesday).

An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said: "The collision involved six vehicles. One person was trapped. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

"The road was closed until about 7.40pm to allow all three emergency services to deal with the incident.
