AN awe-inspiring and dynamic show that transports you through time is coming to Yeovil.

From the 1950’s through to modern day players, The Story of Guitar Heroes moves through time.

Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Brian May and Eddie Cochran are amongst many of those who have mastered the guitar and are covered in this all-out guitar fest.

The Story of Guitar Heroes has been touring for a number of years in countless theatres across the UK.

The show uses over 30 guitars to recreate the sound and ambiance of each guitar hero. The presenter and lead guitarist Phil Walker has a reputation for being one of the most versatile and talented guitarists today.

Equally Phil is down to earth, full of fun and will have you awestruck by his guitar ability whilst enjoying his genuine, warming charisma at the same time.

Phil and his band enjoy what they do immensely. The band are at the peak of their profession, with Toby James and Lee Williams - two fantastic guitarists in their own right; as well as drum virtuoso Allan Varnfield.

Toby James is a professional guitarist based in the South West. He is a full time guitarist with The Story Of Guitar Heroes as well as the band One Step Behind.

From fronting his own band at just 14, to recording in top London studios by 18, touring nationally through his early 20’s, it is fair to say that Lee Williams’ career has already been a varied one.

Allan Varnfield has forged a strong career as a performer, session musician and teacher.

To add to all the excitement, the show is enhanced with video screen technology presenting a snapshot of great historical moments. Combined with state-of-the-art stage lighting, this contributes to the vibrant atmosphere of this thrilling show.

The Story of Guitar Heroes can be seen at The Octagon Theatre in Yeovil on June 14 at 7:30pm. Tickets for the show cost £26 and can be brought from the box office at the theatre.
