CELEBRATE the 30th anniversary of Wallace & Gromit at Montacute House.
World-renowned filmmakers Aardman are teaming up with the National Trust’s Montacute House for a season of inspiration.
This includes a display of some of the creative materials used in the filming process of The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, a Wallace & Gromit garden trail and model-making workshops.
Montacute House was the inspiration for Tottington Hall, the home of Lady Tottington. Members of Aardman’s artistic design team visited Montacute whilst they were in pre-production for the film.
Now the model of Tottington Hall used in the film is leaving its Bristol home and will be on display at Montacute House from May 23 to November 4. As well as the display, visitors can head out into the garden where Gromit is on the hunt for Wallace before the full moon rises.
There is also the opportunity to delve further into the world of Wallace & Gromit by joining a model-making workshop with an Aardman expert on hand.
