A CHARD shop has brought the community together in order to celebrate its 50th year of being open.
The Original Factory Shop ran a competition which saw local schools submit their artwork to be displayed in the shop.
The winning school was Manor Court Primary School. The artwork from the pupils was put on display for the charity event.
A charity bike challenge on the day also saw £300 raised.
The birthday celebration took place in all 168 shops across the country on May 18.
Emma Fox, chief executive of The Original Factory Shop said: “We’re thrilled to be celebrating 50 years in the community.
“We want to thank everyone for their tremendous efforts.”
