AN appeal for witnesses has been launched after an 'unprovoked' attack on a teenage boy in Bridgwater.
The 17-year-old was attacked on Chepstow Avenue, Bridgwater between 8.30pm and 8.50pm on Friday, June 28.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police, said: "The attack appeared to be unprovoked.
"The teenage boy was walking through Mansfield Park when he was assaulted with an unknown bladed article.
"The offender is described as riding a grey mountain bike who is in his 20’s with short ginger hair, 6ft wearing blue and yellow shorts."
