A WOMAN has been banned from driving for 17 months after she crashed her car into a front garden in Berrow.
At a hearing at Taunton Magistrates Court on July 18, Lauren Sheppard, 26, of Dynea Road, Rhydyfelin, Pontypridd, admitted that on June 23 she drove a Mini on Coast Road in Berrow with 63mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath.
The legal limit for driving is 35mcg.
Sheppard was banned from driving for 17 months, fined £300 and ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and £30 to fund victim services.
