A CHALET has been left damaged following a fire at Butlin's in Minehead.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were called to the resort in Warren Road at 2.54pm to a fire involving a two floor chalet.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said six fire engines went to the scene and the chalet's roof was 'severely damaged' by the fire.
"On arrival crews discovered the roof well alight and requested an additional three pumps, one aerial ladder platform, one water carrier and one incident command unit. Three additional support officers were also mobilised.
"Crews used a total of six breathing apparatus wearers, two 10.5m ladders, two attack jets, one safety jet and a fog spike jet.
"The property suffered severe damage to the roof and first floor."
Butlin's tweeted to reassure holidaymakers that no guests have been injured.
Hi Jenni Marie, thanks for your concern, we are pleased to share that this was isolated to just one caravan. Everyone is ok and none of guest caravans were affected- Georgia
