POLICE have issued CCTV images of two women they want to speak to following the theft of an 82-year-old woman's purse.
The purse was stolen as the victim was shopping, but she only realised it was missing when she went to pay at the till.
The theft happened in Poundland, in Middle Street, Yeovil, on Wednesday, June 19.
Police say they would like to speak to two women who were in the store at around the same time.
One of them has light brown hair and was wearing a light green padded jacket. The other woman has dark hair and was wearing a black jacket.
If you know the women or have any other information about the theft, contact Avon and Somerset Police on 101 quoting reference 5219137227. Alternatively call Crimestoppers free on 0800-555111.
The force has issued the following advice to keep your property safe from thieves:
*if you use a bag, always keep it closed;
*never leave your bag unattended;
*keep your bag on you – don’t hang it on a shopping trolley or the back of a chair while out;
*keep your phone and wallet in an inside pocket, never your back pocket.
