A BANK in Ilminster is set to close its doors - temporarily.

Lloyds Bank, in Silver Street, has informed its customers the store will be closing for just over one month.

The closure is to allow improvements to be made by the banking giant.

The doors will close at 2pm on Monday, October 28, and will reopen at 10am on Tuesday, December 10.

A spokesman advised customers can visit the Crewkerne branch in Market Street, or they are able to use online of telephone banking.

"We look forward to sharing our new look with you soon," the spokesman added.
