THREE men have come forward after police appealed for information following an assault in Bridgwater.

Avon and Somerset Police said they are continuing their enquiries into the incident which began in the Golden Ball pub and continued in Dampiet Street on August 7.

A 49-year-old man suffered cuts, bruises and broken glasses in the attack.

A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police, said: We’re grateful to everyone who got in touch with information or shared the appeal.
